Step back in time this weekend at Ward 2's Bradley Museum
The
Engagement at Bradley 2026 is happening on
Saturday, September 19, 2026. + Sunday, September 20, 2026 (10:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
Organized by Heritage Mississauga and the 2nd Regiment of York Militia, this incredible living history weekend brings the War of 1812 right to life in Mississauga!
What to expect:
- 💥 Action-packed battle reenactments and tactical military drills (Saturday at 12:00 PM & 4:00 PM, Sunday at 12:00 PM & 3:30 PM)
- ⛺ Authentic encampments to meet historical soldiers, camp followers, and surgeons
- 🎶 Live traditional folk music and Crown Forces drum lines
- 🛍️ Sutlers’ Row featuring unique, handcrafted goods from period merchants
- 🕵️♂️ Family fun including a "Find the Spy" challenge, scavenger hunts, and kid-friendly Mini-Militia drills

Following this week's Mississauga Planning and Development Committee meeting, I visited Richard's Memorial Park to share my thoughts on the 900 Lakeshore Road West proposal. One of the items on the agenda was the development proposal at 900 Lakeshore Road West, just west of this park and north of Lorne Park Estates.
