Housing Solutions and the Municipal Election: An Evening with Garth Brown

Housing affordability and homelessness continue to be critical issues facing Mississauga. When addressing complex community challenges like these, I value the opportunity to learn directly from experts and ground our local discussions in practical experience.

That is why I welcomed the invitation to attend an upcoming community discussion featuring Garth Brown of the Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness and a dedicated affordable-housing advocate.

I've learned that Garth has played a central role in creating practical housing options across Halton Region and brings hands-on, real-world experience to this discussion. The event, Housing Solutions and the Municipal Election, will highlight local challenges, examine successful housing models, such as legal secondary suites and supportive housing like Lakeshore Lofts by Indwell (425 Lakeshore Rd. E. in Mississauga) and consider viable solutions for our city.
